objective: students will understand and apply the elements of art in a series of photographs.

What are the "elements of art?"

The elements of art are quite simply the different ingredients, pieces, or building blocks that come together to make a work of art- whether it be a painting, drawing, sculpture or photograph.

The elements of art include: line, shape/form, value, texture, color and space.

elements of art = building blocks of art!
