Take 3 photos with motion or movement as the subject. Like Muybridge's work, motion should be sharp and "frozen" by utilizing a fast shutter speed or "sports mode" on your camera.
Turning in your work:
If you have access to a photo editing program and would like to edit your photos before turning in, you may do so. If not, turn the photos in unedited. All 3 photos will be submitted to Schoology.com under the assignment titled "Muybridge Motion."
In your critique answer the following:
- Describe the subject matter or concept behind each photo.
- Which photo is your favorite and why?
- Describe your favorite photo using at least 1 element of art and 1 principle of design. (ie: My photo of the wave is my favorite. I like how it shows the different textures of the water and the rocks, as well as the contrast between them.)
*If you have internet access you may submit your work from vacation or if not, you may submit it from school or home when you return.
